Kidnapping of school children:
Kidnapping the school children is increasing day by day. Even though the accused are given severe punishment, there is no change or avoidable one. The Govt., schools and parents should think seriously about this and should make necessary changes.
Steps to be taken:
- The Government should come forward to appoint each school a police officer.
- The parents should send the children in school vans rather than sending them in private vans.
- The details of each van drivers, car drivers, and auto drivers should be collected by the school and registered at near by Police station.
- The school must provide van facility with minimum fees as a transport cost. Each school van, a teacher nearby that area should accompany a minimum of 30 students. So that the parents will be motivated to send their children in school vans.
- Every school must have a rule that their students should be staying in and around not more that 3 Kms. So that the students can come with their parents.
- Teachers should take care of their students not only for the primary section but also for the high school.
- Govt. and school authorities must install circuit cameras outside the school premises.
