How minerals and water are taken up by a plant?

Plants absorb water and minerals through roots. The roots have a minute cells xylem and phloem. The phloem cells take food materials to all parts of plants. And the xylem cells take water to all parts. The cells act as capillaries just like straws that we use to drink juices.

What is Environment?

Environment means all the things that are around us. It includes all living and non-living things.We must have a clean surrounding to live and to stay healthy for both living and non-living things.

 For that the land, the air and the water must be clean and pure. But due to some reason it is getting polluted. We must be environment-friendly. That means we must not do things that will harm the surroundings. We must do things that will make our environment a safe and a better place to live in.
